About Black Men of South Carolina

One Mission. One Community. One Future.

Black Men of South Carolina (BMOSC) is a statewide movement dedicated to bringing Black men together to strengthen families, mentor youth, serve our communities, promote economic empowerment, and inspire positive change across South Carolina. The organization encourages Black men to lead through service, responsibility, unity, and action while building safer neighborhoods and stronger communities.

We believe that lasting change begins with committed men who are willing to invest their time, talents, and leadership into the lives of others. Our members work together to mentor young people, support Black-owned businesses, encourage civic engagement, assist seniors, strengthen families, and partner with churches, community organizations, educators, and law enforcement to improve the quality of life throughout our state.

Our mission is not simply to identify challenges—it is to become part of the solution. Through volunteer service, leadership development, education, and community outreach, BMOSC seeks to create opportunities that help individuals, families, and neighborhoods thrive.
